Peter van Laer

Peter Van Laer is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Since October 2019, Peter serves as the CEO of BDO Belgium. Peter is also a Board Member for multiple organizations, including Pavlov - brand consultancy, Odot.be, and aiGust. As a Managing Partner at Vlacon bvba since May 2007, Peter has demonstrated long-term commitment and expertise in business management. Previous positions include Managing Director at BDO Digital Belgium and Crossroad Consulting NV, as well as Chairman of the Executive Committee for Cargo Community System. Peter's educational background includes a Master in Business Administration from Flanders Business School, a Master in Computer Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and a Master in Industrial Sciences specializing in Micro Electronics from the University of Antwerp.
