Ruth Wigham has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ruth is currently the Head of ICT & Digital at Oxford Direct Services since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategy & Innovation Manager at Oxford Direct Services Ltd from August 2018. Ruth has also held positions at Oxford City Council as a Business Development Manager from November 2015 to July 2018 and as a Business Partner - Business Improvement & Technology from December 2013 to October 2015. Before that, they served as the Head of Dept. Business, Prof. Studies, ICT, The Peter Jones Enterprise/Microsoft/Cisco Academies at Oxford and Cherwell Valley College from July 2003 to August 2013. Ruth also founded Milestones Matter in 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked at RM as the Head of Training and Seminars from 2000 to 2003 and as the Head of Network Infrastructure Services from 1992 to 2000. Ruth started their career as a General Manager at Didcot Instrument Co Ltd from 1986 to 1995 and as a Business Studies Teacher at Gatow School Berlin from 1982 to 1984.

Ruth Wigham completed a Practitioner degree in Project Management at AgilePM in the year 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a DML (Degree of Master of Letters) in Leadership and Management from Oxford Brookes University during the period from 2009 to 2010. Their educational background also includes attending Elgin Academy Scotland from 1974 to 1977, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. Additionally, they obtained a certification in ITIL - IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2016.
