As OEB enters its 32nd year, it remains at the forefront of shaping the future of learning. Since 1995, the conference has welcomed policymakers, business leaders, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and learning professionals from over 70 countries. With thought-provoking keynotes, dynamic discussions, and hands-on workshops, it is the place where higher education meets workplace learning, policy meets practice, and technology meets human potential.

Join us in Berlin from December 2-4, 2026 to shape an educational future where innovation expands possibilities, technology enhances learning, and people remain at the centre of progress.

Call for Proposals

Building on the rich legacy of past gatherings, OEB is inviting researchers, educators, policymakers, and learning & technology specialists to contribute to the next chapter in shaping the learning landscape. The Conference Call for Proposals is an open invitation for thought leaders and innovators to submit their findings and insights.
Submissions are encouraged to focus on emerging trends, challenges, and solutions in technology-enhanced learning. OEB values diversity in perspectives and seeks to include studies and practices from a variety of contexts and disciplines.

In 2026, OEB examines how learning systems must evolve in a period of profound technological, economic and institutional transformation.

This year’s conference theme:
Sovereign Learning: Trust, Agency & the Education Reset

We invite you to submit your proposal by 29 May 2026.
