Alan Paic

Alan Paic is a seasoned policy analyst currently serving as a Senior Policy Analyst at OECD-OCDE since January 2024. Previously, Paic held the position of Head of Secretariat at GPAI from March 2023 to February 2024, overseeing the Secretariat’s operations and council meetings. With extensive experience at OECD from 2010 to 2023, including roles such as Senior Economist in Science and Innovation Policies and Head of the OECD Investment Compact for South East Europe, Paic has focused on innovation policy and investment climate enhancement in the region. A former Senior Manager at Stratorg and Case Team Leader at Monitor Deloitte, Paic has also contributed as a lecturer at Sciences Po and conducted research at CERN and the Physics Institute Neuchatel. Paic holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Ph.D. in Particle Physics from Université de Neuchâtel, and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Zagreb.
