Andrew Aitken is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in both research and economic analysis. Currently serving as an Economist at the OECD - OCDE since March 2022, Andrew also holds a position as a Research Associate at the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) since February 2017. Prior experience includes a five-year tenure at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) where Andrew progressed from Economist to Principal Economist. Andrew Aitken earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London between 2010 and 2015.
