Anne Gourmelon

Anne Gourmelon is an experienced professional in the field of chemical safety with a significant tenure at OECD-OCDE since August 2002 as a Principal Administrator for the Test Guidelines Programme. This Programme focuses on the development and harmonization of test methods for chemical safety addressing areas such as human health and ecotoxicity, while promoting alternative methods to enhance animal welfare. Anne has also served as a Project Manager within the organization, where achievements include the development of guidelines for ecotoxicity testing and the organization of Cooperative Chemicals Assessment Meetings. Prior to OECD, Anne worked with the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) as an Associate Professional Officer, contributing to the implementation of the PIC procedure under the Rotterdam Convention. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences with a focus on Toxicology-Ecotoxicology from Wageningen Agricultural University and additional studies at Universitat Politècnica de València and Institut supérieur d'Agriculture de Beauvais.
