Blake Briggs

Blake Briggs currently serves as the Australian Representative to the Business at OECD Private Pensions Expert Group at OECD - OCDE since January 2024. In addition, Blake has been the Chief Executive Officer and previously the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Financial Services Council since May 2020, focusing on policy and advocacy for various financial sectors. Blake holds a position on the Advisory Board for the Faculty of Work and Organisational Studies at The University of Sydney Business School since June 2015. Prior roles include Head of Government and Industry Affairs for Wealth at Westpac, Director of the Gateway Network Governance Body, Superannuation and Financial Services Policy Manager at the Financial Services Council, Senior Policy Advisor at NSW Business Chamber, and Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations. Blake holds a Juris Doctor with Distinction from UNSW and a Juris Doctor from The Australian National University, along with a degree in Commerce from the University of Sydney.
