Boris Cournède

Head Of The Israel-slovak Republic Desk

Boris Cournède has extensive experience in public economics, currently serving as the Head of the Israel-Slovak Republic Desk and Acting Head of the Public Economics Division at the OECD since February 2002. Cournède has held various leadership roles within the OECD, including founding head of multiple workstreams focused on financial policy, inclusive growth, and economic stability, as well as overseeing macroeconomic studies and policy advice across the euro area and select OECD countries. Prior experience includes work as an economist at the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery, engaging in environmental economic studies and representing France in EU and UN climate negotiations, and as a Project Analyst at the World Bank. Cournède's educational background includes advanced degrees in mathematics and economics from prestigious institutions in France.
