Boyko Takov

Boyko Takov is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in academia and public service. Currently serving as a Board Member at INSME since December 2021 and as the Head of the Bulgarian National Contact Point for the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, Takov also holds the position of Executive Director at the Bulgarian SME Promotion Agency, where contributions have been ongoing since November 2018. Takov is involved in academia as an Assistant Professor at the University of National and World Economy and as a Visiting Lecturer at VUZF, both roles commencing in 2020. Previous experience includes board membership at GIPS from 2016 to 2018 and managerial responsibilities at RES Technology & ASM Consult pertaining to 45 MW PV power plants between 2008 and 2012, as well as serving as Chief Expert at the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense from 2004 to 2008. Takov's educational background includes a PhD from the Technical University of Sofia and studies at the University of National and World Economy.
