Bruno Damásio

Bruno Damásio is a lecturer of statistics and econometrics at NOVA IMS (Nova University of Lisbon), where they have taught for the past 12 years. They completed a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Lisbon in 2019, following an M.Sc. in Econometrics and a B.Sc. in Economics from the same institution. Their research focuses on econometrics, time-series, causal inference, and data science, with published work in various leading journals. In addition to their academic role, Bruno serves as a statistical consultant and trainer for organizations such as the OECD and the European Commission.
