Clara Young

Clara Young has extensive experience in the fashion and media industries, serving as a Field Producer for Fashion File Television during Paris fashion shows from 2001 to 2003. A Regular Contributor to ELLE Canada from 2003 to 2019, Clara has also been a freelance copywriter and translator for various high-profile brands including Guerlain and Chanel since 1996. As Editor-in-Chief of Speakeasy Magazine from 2010 to 2016, Clara oversaw a bi-monthly educational magazine. Additional roles include freelance journalism for RFI and serving as a Senior Editor and Podcaster at OECD since 2016. Clara has contributed to numerous publications, including ArtReview and FASHION Magazine, and served as a workshop leader at the Institut Français de la Mode. Early career experience includes social work at La Cimade and editorial responsibilities for the now-defunct Fashion Live. Academic credentials include a Master's from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in History from the University of British Columbia.
