Darius Buta

Darius Buta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance, communication, and crisis management. Serving as a Board Member at Vilniaus miesto tikslinės teritorijos vietos veiklos grupė from April 2021 to May 2022, Darius also held advisory roles at Mažeikiai Municipality and the National Shared Functions Centre, where current responsibilities as an Advisor began in June 2022. Notably, Darius worked within the Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, initially as the Chief Advisor for Threat Management and Crisis Prevention from November 2022 to January 2023, and currently as the Chief Advisor for the National Crisis Management Centre. Additional roles include membership in the OECD Expert Group on Governance Responses to Mis- and Disinformation and leadership positions in communications across various organizations, including the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce and Finance Guru. Darius Buta's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas.
