Dr. Till Klein

Dr. Till Klein currently serves as the Head of AI Regulation at appliedAI Institute for Europe gGmbH since May 2024 and holds multiple expert roles, including positions at GPAI and the International Expert Consortium on AI. Dr. Klein is a member of the OECD Network of Experts on AI and has previously led Trustworthy AI initiatives at appliedAI Initiative GmbH. With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Klein completed a PhD in Networked Innovation from Swinburne University of Technology and has participated in various prestigious education programs, including a recent course on AI and bias at the European University Institute. Additionally, Dr. Klein has contributed to education in AI as a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich and has experience in industry research and management at various organizations, including Intel Corporation.
