Agricultural Trade Policy Analyst

Edith Laget serves as an Agricultural Trade Policy Analyst at the OECD-OCDE since January 2022. Prior to this role, Edith worked as an Economist Consultant in the Macroeconomics Trade and Investment global practice at the World Bank Group from June 2017 to January 2022. Additional experience includes a Dissertation Intern position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 2016, an internship at CEPII in 2014, and a Research Officer role at the International Monetary Fund from September 2010 to August 2012, focusing on systemic issues such as reserves accumulation and capital inflow management. Edith also completed a trainee position at the European Central Bank in 2009. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland, an M.S. in Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and a Statisticians Economist degree from ENSAE, complemented by preparatory classes in Mathematics and Physics at Lycée du Parc.
