Eugene Chang

Eugene Chang is a Data Scientist currently employed at the OECD - OCDE since April 2024, focusing on Trade & Productivity Statistics within the Statistics & Data Directorate. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Data Scientist at the Department for Business and Trade and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Additionally, Eugene served as a Data Scientist at the Department for International Trade (DIT) and as an Operational Research Analyst at the Department for Education, where contributions included forecasting graduate earnings and analyzing teacher workforce dynamics. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, an MRes in Biomedical Research, and an MSci in Mathematics, all from Imperial College London, complemented by research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Sheffield.
