Guy Lalanne serves as the Acting Head of Division for Productivity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the OECD since December 2019, also holding the position of Senior Economist and Team Lead in the Science Technology and Innovation Directorate. Previously, Guy spent nearly a decade at the Direction générale du Trésor, where roles included Head of the Financial Sector Economic Analysis Division and Head of the Industrial Policy, Research and Innovation Division, managing teams of economists and focusing on economic diagnostics and public policy recommendations. Early career experience includes work as an Economist at INSEE, focusing on macroeconomic modeling and international trade. Guy holds a PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and has degrees from ENSAE Paris and École Polytechnique.
