Jens Lundsgaard

Jens Lundsgaard currently serves as Deputy Director for the Science Technology and Innovation Directorate at the OECD, a role initiated in October 2022, involving collaboration with 180 colleagues to improve policies on productivity, digitalisation, and innovation, particularly in the green and climate sectors. Previously, Jens Lundsgaard was a Member of the Board of Directors at EBRD from May 2018 to September 2022 and operated Lundsgaard Economics & Strategy during the same period. Prior to this, from May 2011 to December 2017, Jens Lundsgaard held the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Business and Growth. Jens Lundsgaard's extensive experience at the OECD from May 2001 to April 2011 included roles such as Deputy Chief Tax Economist, Senior Economist, and Economist. Additionally, Jens Lundsgaard was Head of Section at the Ministry of Finance, Denmark, from December 1998 to April 2001. Jens Lundsgaard holds a cand.oecon. degree in Economics from Aarhus University, earned between 1991 and 1998.
