Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Head of Unit for Country-by-Country Reporting, ICAP, and Tax Dispute Prevention at the OECD, a position held since August 2011. In this role, Mark Johnson oversees the implementation of Action 13 of the OECD/G20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Action Plan and leads initiatives focused on international tax risk assessment and dispute prevention for large multinational enterprises. Prior to this, Mark Johnson held positions at HM Revenue & Customs as an Anti-Avoidance Adviser, where the focus was on aggressive tax planning, and at Deloitte UK as Director of Treasury Tax. Mark Johnson's extensive background includes roles in financial engineering at ING, structured products at WestLB, and senior management at Arthur Andersen and KPMG UK. Mark Johnson holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Law/Taxation from the School of Advanced Study, University of London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Leicester.
