Mathilde Mesnard

Mathilde Mesnard has extensive experience in economics and finance, beginning as a Financial Analyst at Citi from July 1989 to December 1990. After serving as a Consultant at Deloitte & Touche from 1990 to 1993, Mathilde Mesnard joined the OECD, initially as a Senior Economist and Advisor to the Secretary General from September 2009 to November 2013, and later held multiple senior roles including Deputy Director of the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs and Deputy Director of the Environment Directorate until November 2022. Additionally, Mathilde Mesnard acted as Senior Advisor to the Secretary General and Coordinator for New Approaches to Economic Challenges. Education includes an MBA in Finance from Drexel University and a PhD in Institutional Economics from EHESS, alongside ongoing studies in Philosophy at Université Paris Nanterre and a prior MBA in International Business from ESCP Business School.
