Michael Fleming serves as the Head of the Data Bank and a Senior Official at the OECD since May 2018. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at the UK Atomic Energy Authority and the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy from September 2014 to April 2018, including Section Leader of the Nuclear Data & Methods Programme, where responsibilities included managing the program under the UK EPSRC fusion grant, modernizing processes, and developing the FISPACT-II nuclear code. Michael has also contributed as a consultant on nuclear analysis projects and led UKAEA initiatives related to EURATOM-EUROfusion and the DBEIS Nuclear Innovation. Michael has presented lectures internationally at esteemed institutions and conferences. Academic credentials include a Master of Philosophy in Nuclear Energy from the University of Cambridge and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from King's College London, along with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Puget Sound.
