Nick Thijs

Nick Thijs is a Senior Advisor on Public Administration Reform & Service Delivery at the OECD, focusing on good public administration and the delivery of public services in several EU Enlargement and Neighbourhood countries. Prior to this role, Nick was the Owner and Public Sector Reform Expert at the Public Sector Development Institute from July 2017 to July 2020 and served as a Research Project Coordinator at Universiteit Antwerpen, conducting research for the Flemish Government. Nick has also worked as a Senior Lecturer at the European Institute of Public Administration, contributing to public sector quality management and capacity building projects, and as a researcher at KU Leuven's Public Governance Institute, specializing in public-sector quality management and organizational development. Nick holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science/Public Management from KU Leuven.
