Peter Haxton

Peter Haxton, PhD, is a Senior Policy Analyst in Tourism Policy and Analysis at the OECD, bringing over 20 years of experience in tourism and regional development programme management. Peter has previously held senior roles at the London Development Agency and Tourism and Events Queensland, where they contributed significantly to economic development strategies and managed crisis response initiatives. Educated at the University of Technology, Sydney, where they earned a PhD, and James Cook University, where they received a Bachelor of Administration (Tourism) with honors, Peter has demonstrated expertise in navigating politically complex environments and building consensus across multicultural teams.
