Peter Wostner

Peter Wostner currently serves as Secretary at the Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development, where responsibilities include editing the National Productivity Report. Wostner also holds a researcher position at the University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Social Sciences and has been involved with OECD as Vice Chair of the Regional Development Policy Committee and Chairman of the Working Party on Rural Policy since December 2012. Previously, Wostner was a Senior Advisor at the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy in Slovenia, leading the Smart Specialisation Coordination Unit, and held a Senior Advisor role at the Ministry for Economic Development and Technology. With a PhD in Cohesion Policy from the University of Ljubljana and a Master of Science in Regional and Local Development from The London School of Economics, Wostner possesses extensive experience in economic development and policy analysis.
