Rafal Kierzenkowski

Mr. Rafał Kierzenkowski took up his functions as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary General of the OECD on 1 July 2020. As Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary-General, Mr Rafal Kierzenkowski will support the Secretary-General and the Chief of Staff in a range of core activities across the OECD, helping implement the strategic vision for the Organisation. Together with the Chief of Staff, he will oversee the functioning of the Office of the Secretary-General and the preparation of all activities and functions by the Secretary-General, including those related to the delivery of targeted policy advice to countries, day-to-day relations with OECD Delegations and Partner Countries, contribute to the work of Council, Standing Committees, and Special Bodies and support coordination on budgetary matters, VCs and strategic partnerships. He will also foster cross-cutting activities among different directorates and ensure that the OECD remains at the cutting edge of policy analysis.
