Renwick Irvine currently serves as a Senior Policy Analyst for Peer Reviews at the OECD - OCDE, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Renwick was a Senior Adviser to the French Sahel Envoy at the Ministère des Affaires étrangères français from August 2019 to September 2021. Renwick has extensive experience with the Department for International Development (DFID) in various capacities from September 2004 to August 2019, including Team Leader of the Governance and Economic Transformation team in DFID Ethiopia, where leadership was provided for a team of 18 and an annual budget of £60 million. Renwick also led efforts in governance and social development in Vietnam, and held advisory roles in governance and education across Yemen, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Burundi. Educational qualifications include a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History from Lincoln College, Oxford University.
