Stephen Jones is Australia’s Ambassador to the OECD and has held various significant roles in public service. Prior to this, they served as Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services in the Australian Parliament, with previous positions including Shadow Assistant Minister for Health from 2014 to 2021, and various shadow ministerial roles. Earlier in their career, they were the National Secretary of the CPSU from 2004 to 2009 and worked as a lawyer at the ACTU. Stephen graduated from Macquarie University in 2003.
