Stijn Broecke

Senior Economist

Stijn Broecke is a Senior Economist at the OECD, specializing in the labour market impact of artificial intelligence and the future of work and skills. Stijn's career includes roles such as Economic Adviser at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and Labour Market Economist at the OECD from 2012 to 2017. Stijn also served as an Economist with the Ministry of Health in Mozambique, and has held various economic positions with the Department for Work and Pensions and the African Development Bank. Stijn earned a PhD in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London, and possesses degrees from Cambridge University, UCL Institute of Education, and the University of Nottingham.
