Taehoon Lee currently serves as an economist in the International Migration Division at OECD - OCDE, starting in February 2023. Prior to this role, Taehoon worked as a part-time consultant and intern in the Migration Research and Publications Division at IOM - UN Migration from February 2021 to March 2022. Taehoon's earlier experience includes a position as a research associate at the Asian Development Bank Institute from October 2017 to August 2018 and service as a staff sergeant in the Republic of Korea Air Force Academy from April 2009 to May 2011. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute, expected by September 2024, a Master in Economics with a focus on Public Policy and Development from the Paris School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in Economic Theory and Statistics from NYU Stern School of Business. Additionally, Taehoon has obtained certificates in Demography and Population Studies from the European Doctoral School of Demography and in Health Economics from International Doctoral Courses in Health Economics and Policy, with the latter expected to be completed by September 2025.
