Thomas Boehler is an experienced Policy Analyst at OECD, leading the Policy and Secretariat team in the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation since December 2015. Thomas specializes in private sector engagement, South-South and Triangular Cooperation, and provides leadership on development effectiveness. Prior to OECD, Thomas served as an Economic Affairs Officer at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, where significant contributions included support for the ECOSOC Development Cooperation Forum and drafting strategic reports. Additional roles include Associate Curator at Art for the World, Head of the Poverty Research Centre at unicum:mensch, and various consultant and research positions focusing on development cooperation and poverty alleviation. Thomas holds a Doctorate in Economic and Social Sciences from Business School Vienna and a Master's degree in International Economics and Business Administration from Universität Innsbruck.
