Tom Pygall

Tom Pygall currently serves as the Co-Head of Tax - Global and Head of Tax for Europe at Acquinex, with a strong focus on tax underwriting for M&A deals and group reorganisations across the UK and Europe. Pygall is also a member of the Technical Advisory Group on Consumption Taxes at OECD, advising on VAT challenges in the digital economy. Previous experience includes roles as a Tax Lawyer at Goodwin, Associate Director at Deloitte, and Senior International Tax Specialist at HM Treasury, where notable work involved domestic and international tax policy and negotiations related to Brexit. Pygall's legal career encompasses positions at Osborne Clarke and King & Spalding, specializing in corporate tax and indirect taxes, along with a foundation in tax policy at HM Revenue & Customs and HM Treasury. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Nottingham and a Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School.
