Waleed Eissa is a public finance management and local development consultant with over 15 years of experience across government, private sector, and non-governmental organizations. Currently, Waleed works as a consultant for the World Bank in Cairo, focusing on fiscal policy analysis and local development. Previously, they held the position of head assistant of the Transparency and Citizens Engagement Unit at the Egyptian Ministry of Finance and served as a budget researcher. Waleed has contributed to numerous national projects and has taught economics at various institutions. They hold a master's degree in economics and are pursuing a PhD in economics at Cairo University.
