William G.

William G. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the chemical industry and environmental policy. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons since January 2021, William also holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Business @ OECD Working Group on Energy and Environment Policies, where contributions to environmental policy design are made. As Executive Director at Cefic since September 2010, advocacy in Sustainable Development, Energy, Climate Change, and HSSE policies is guided. William's previous roles at LyondellBasell included Director of Global Operational Excellence, Site Director in The Netherlands, and various managerial positions focused on health, safety, and environmental integrity. William holds a DEA in Environmental Sciences from INSA Lyon and a Master of Science in Mechanical and Civil Engineering from Ecole des Mines d'Alès.
