Gunes Evgin

Gunes Evgin, CMA has extensive experience in finance and management roles. Gunes currently serves as the Director of Finance at OES Inc., where they oversee innovative technology solutions and contributes to successful product commercialization. Prior to this, Gunes worked as a part-time Chief Financial Officer at D'Four Group Inc., where they improved financial reporting and re-organized the finance department. Gunes also held positions such as Managing Director at PPG Industries, where they represented long-term strategies and managed a sales turnover of approximately €100MM, and Chief Financial Officer at Henry Schein and Standard Profil Group, where they executed financial responsibilities and managed large budgets. Gunes has a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and business strategy.

Gunes Evgin, CMA has a diverse education history. In 1987, they began their bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Gunes completed their undergraduate studies in 1990. Following this, in 2013, Gunes attended the INSEAD Executive Development Program, focusing on Competitive Strategies. The following year, in 2014, they participated in the Hult Ashridge Executive Development Program, specializing in the Global Key Account Management Program.

In addition to their formal education, Gunes also holds the designation of Certified Management Accountant from the International Management Accountant institution. Gunes has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Creating a High Performance Culture, Having Difficult Conversations, Body Language for Leaders, Thinking Like a Leader, Developing Executive Presence, Executive Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Designing Growth Strategies, Finance Foundations: Income Taxes, Global Strategy, Negotiating Your Leadership Success, and Writing a Business Case. Furthermore, Gunes earned an edX Verified Certificate for Islamic Finance and Banking in November 2020.
