Almudena Lara

Almudena Lara is an accomplished professional in child safety and social policy, currently serving as Policy Director for Child Safety at Ofcom. Previous roles include Child Safety Senior Manager at Google and Head of Policy and Public Affairs at NSPCC. Almudena has also held significant positions at the Department for Education, including Head of Social Work Reform and Head of Children in Care, as well as Deputy Director of the Social Action Team at the Cabinet Office. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Economics from The London School of Economics and a Diploma in Economics from the University of Warwick.
