Anas Al Rawi is currently serving as the Principal Technology Advisor in the Infrastructure and Connectivity Group at Ofcom, where they lead a team that monitors advancements in fixed networks, satellite systems, and emerging digital services. Previously, Anas held various roles at BT, including Research Manager in Network Physics, and contributed significantly to R&D for nearly a decade. They have over 30 patents and academic publications, alongside numerous contributions to industry standards. Anas earned a PhD in communications engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, following a distinction in their MSc in Communication and Signal Processing.
