Andreas Hoefele is currently the Head of Econometrics at Ofcom, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, they worked as an Assistant Economist at the Competition and Markets Authority in 2014-2015 and served as a Lecturer at Loughborough University from 2012 to 2014. Andreas also held a Research Fellowship at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2012. They are an Advisory Board Member at the Lambda Research Centre at the University of Liverpool since 2025. Andreas earned a Master of Science from The University of Edinburgh and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Strathclyde.
