Bethany Atkinson

Bethany Atkinson is an experienced professional in policy and project management, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Ofcom since December 2022. Prior to this role, Atkinson held various positions at the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) from 2017 to 2022, including Policy and Project Lead and Senior Policy Advisor, where responsibilities included advising on health policy matters and leading horizon scanning of policy developments. Atkinson also contributed to children's services policy at Derbyshire County Council and gained early experience at Sheffield City Council and Groundwork in South Yorkshire. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Governance and Public Policy and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy from the University of Sheffield.
