Collin Kurre

Technology Policy Principal at Ofcom

Collin Kurre has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Collin started their career as a Media Intern at WBHM (NPR) from September 2010 to December 2011. In 2015, they worked as a Public Policy Intern at CELE - Center for Studies on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information. From 2016 to 2017, Collin served as a Policy and Communications Officer at the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network.

In 2017, Collin joined ARTICLE 19 as a Digital Program Officer, where they worked until June 2019. During this time, they also took on leadership roles at ICANN, serving as the Chair of the Cross-Community Working Party on Human Rights from November 2017 to October 2019. Additionally, they were the Non-commercial Representative on the EPDP on gTLD Registration (WHOIS) Data from August 2018 to March 2019.

From December 2019 to February 2021, Collin worked at BT as a Privacy and Freedom of Expression Manager. In 2021, they joined the World Economic Forum as the Lead Contributor for the Global Coalition for Digital Safety. Currently, Collin holds the position of Technology Policy Principal at Ofcom, starting in June 2022.
