George Lusty has extensive experience in regulatory and legal roles, currently serving as the Director of Enforcement at Ofcom since June 2025. Prior to this position, George held several key roles at the Competition and Markets Authority, including Interim Executive Director of Consumer Protection and Markets and Senior Director for Consumer Protection between February 2024 and May 2025. George began the career as a Trainee Solicitor and later became an Associate at Simmons & Simmons from March 2004 to March 2006. George's academic background includes a Master of Arts with Distinction in European Union Law from King's College London and a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford. George also worked at the Competition Appeal Tribunal as a Referendaire from September 2009 to August 2014.
