Hugh Mullan

Hugh Mullan currently serves as Economics Director at Ofcom since July 2022 and as Deputy Director at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) since August 2021. Previously, Hugh held the position of Technical Specialist at the Payment Systems Regulator from May 2019 to August 2021 and worked as Assistant Director (economist) at the Competition and Markets Authority from June 2012 to April 2019. Earlier roles include Regulatory Economist at Royal Mail from March 2011 to June 2012, Senior Associate at RBB Economics from March 2006 to January 2010, and Economic Adviser at the Office of Fair Trading from October 2001 to March 2006.
