Priya Patel

Priya Patel is currently serving as a Policy Advisor for Online Safety at Ofcom since November 2023. Prior to this role, Priya worked for The Children's Society from May 2019 to November 2023, where the positions held included Policy Officer and Policy, Research and Public Affairs Assistant. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Restorative Justice For All Institute in early 2019, focusing on various research activities, stakeholder liaison, and project administration. Additionally, Priya interned at the House of Commons in April 2018, where responsibilities included managing a political diary and developing administrative skills. Priya holds a BSc (Hons) in Politics from Brunel University of London, completed in 2018.
