Stephen Darke

Stephen Darke is currently the Public Policy Principal for Broadcasting & Media at Ofcom. They previously held various roles at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, including Private Secretary to the Secretary of State and Diary Manager to the Minister for Sport. Stephen also served as Ministerial Speechwriter at HM Treasury and Acting Deputy Director for Heritage, Tourism and Cultural Diplomacy at DCMS. They began their career in broadcasting as Station Manager for Leeds Student Radio while studying at the University of Leeds, where they earned a BA in English and Social Policy.
