Nyssa Engebo is a Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering graduate from Oregon State University, with a diverse range of experiences in product development and leadership roles. As a Product Development Intern at Lonza, Nyssa conducted literature reviews and operated spray drying equipment. In leadership positions at Oregon State University, Nyssa served as President of the BioE President-CBEE Student Club, where coordination with industry representatives and school administration took place, and as K-12 Outreach Coordinator, facilitating weekly outreach events for local families. Nyssa was also an Undergraduate Research Assistant, contributing to the Menstrual Health and Hygiene project, and participated as an INBT Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins Institute for NanoBioTechnology. Currently, Nyssa is a Biopharma Process Development Engineer at Oregon Freeze Dry while continuing to engage with the Oregon State University Honors College as a Senior Ambassador.
