Scott Shen is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Oil Field Development Engineering (OFD) since September 2018, Scott serves as a Facilities Engineer, providing engineering services for various Manage of Change (MOC) projects in the Gulf of Mexico, focusing on P&ID modifications, piping isometric drawing reviews, and API compliance. Prior roles include Senior Application Engineer at Exterran, where Scott prepared proposals for production equipment applications across different regions, and Mechanical/Pipeline Engineer at AMEC Paragon, contributing to the Enbridge Southern Access/Southern Lights Projects. Earlier experience includes optimization studies for Conoco's Deir Ezzor Gas Plant and involvement in the development of oil-field projects for the Bohai Oil Corporation. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology.
