Brian O'Casey has a diverse work experience spanning many years in various roles within the food industry. Brian founded Offbeat Donuts in 2016, a bakery and retail concept specializing in premium quality, unique patisserie style donuts. Prior to that, they worked for Aryzta Food Solutions as the European Head of Consumer Brand solutions from 2013 to 2015. Brian also held the position of Commercial Director at Cuisine de France from 2010 to 2013. From 2008 to 2010, they served as the Managing Director of Carroll Cuisine, where they had full responsibility for sales, distribution, and manufacturing development. Before that, they worked for Cuisine de France as the Business Development Director from 2006 to 2008 and as the Commercial Director at Carroll Cuisine from 2004 to 2006. Brian also held positions at Pierre's Foodservice and green isle foods as a Commercial Director and Sales Manager, respectively. Brian's career began in 1988 as a Sales Manager at Butler Meijer Potao Processing Company.

Brian O'Casey began their education journey at Portmarnock Community School, where they attended from 1981 to 1983. Although the exact degree and field of study are unknown, they then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Studies degree at Dublin City University. Brian focused their studies on sales, marketing, and finance during their time at the university, completing their degree in 1987.
