Mario Alvarez has worked in the tech industry since 2013. Mario began their career as an intern at 10gen (the MongoDB company) in 2013. Mario then went on to pursue a PHD at the University of California, San Diego from 2014-2017. After that, they worked as a Researcher at ConsenSys Mesh from 2017-2022. Mario is currently employed as a Research Engineer at Offchain Labs.
Mario Alvarez began their educational journey at Princeton University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science in 2014. Mario then continued their studies at UC San Diego, where they received a Master of Science - MS degree in Computer Science in 2018, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Computer Science in 2022.
