James Edwards

James Edwards has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. James is currently working at Offen Petroleum as the VP of Finance and Accounting, a role they assumed in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at UECompression as a Finance Manager from February 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Offen Petroleum, James held the position of Director of Investor Relations at Jagged Peak Energy from June 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they planned and executed the investor relations program for the newly public NYSE listed company and worked closely with the senior leadership group.

From August 2015 to May 2018, James served as the Director - Investor Relations at Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc. James was responsible for managing and responding to inquiries from buy-side and sell-side analysts/portfolio managers regarding the company's publicly traded debt and equity. James also worked on formulating corporate messaging for investor presentations by collaborating with operational personnel and management.

Before joining Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc., James worked at SM Energy Company from March 2011 to August 2015. Initially, they served as the Manager of Investor Relations, where they created presentations for high-yield debt issuances and led the design of annual reports. Later, they transitioned to the role of Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, where they assisted in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes for SEC filings.

James began their career at PwC, where they worked as a Staff member from August 2006 to July 2008.

James Edwards pursued their education at the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, in 2009, James became a Certified Public Accountant through the NASBA institution.
