Alec Gorjestani

Alec Gorjestani has extensive work experience in engineering and technology. From 1999 to 2011, they worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota, where they developed systems using sensing, computing, and control to solve complex transportation problems. Alec then served as the Chief Technology Officer at Drive Power LLC from 2011 to 2014, where they led mobile and web developers and provided technical guidance and vision to upper management. In 2014, they became a Senior Mobile Engineer at SportsEngine, where they led the Android team to develop and maintain the SportsEngine Android app. In 2016, they Co-Founded OfferingTree SBC, where they helped create the vision for the product, strategic direction, and marketing channels, as well as developing front and back end code. In 2020, they joined Omada Health as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Alec also Co-Founded Clowd Lab LLC in 2012, providing engineering consulting in fields such as mobile software, embedded software, controls, data acquisition and analysis, research pilot testing, and cloud computing.

Alec Gorjestani received their B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994. Alec then went on to pursue an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, which they completed in 1999. In 2006, they earned an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
