Niclas Åkerström has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Niclas began their career in 2008 as a Sales Associate/Cashier at Woody Bygghandel AB. Niclas then worked at SIBA AB, where they started as a Sales Associate in 2009 and later became a Department Manager in 2013 until 2014. From 2007 to 2015, Niclas also pursued a career as a professional athlete in track and field, representing Hässelby SK. In 2014, they joined Elgiganten Bromma as an Assistant Department Manager, responsible for sales and operations in the telecommunication department. Niclas achieved top-five results in sales performance among 75 departments in Sweden. Niclas then moved to Elgiganten AB in 2015 and held various roles, including Department Manager for the telecommunication department and later as the Department Manager for the largest electronics department in the Nordic region. Niclas had overall responsibility for operations, staff management, and achieving sales targets. During their tenure, they significantly increased the department's turnover by 250% against the budget. Niclas is currently working as a Key Account Manager at Offerta AB, where they manage key clients and holds strategic responsibilities for the company.

Niclas Åkerström earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Marketing from Linnaeus University between 2010 and 2013. In 2007 and 2008, they studied Health and Physical Education/Fitness at Växjö University. Additionally, in 2016 and 2017, they attended Elkjöp Academy, where they pursued CAT 5 studies.
