David Bourner

David Bourner has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as the Head of Operational Finance at the Office for Students since April 2018. Prior to this role, David held the same title at the Higher Education Funding Council for England from June 2017 to March 2018. David's career includes positions such as Group Financial Accounts Manager at the Institute of Physics and Head of Financial Accounts and Systems at English Heritage. David's foundational experience was gained at Deloitte, where the role of Audit Manager was undertaken, along with a training contract with ICAEW. David began the professional journey as an Accounts Assistant at Future plc. Educational credentials include a degree in Production and Operations Management from the University of Nottingham, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
